Through this web site, I am hoping we can exchange ideas, news, events and information that will assist us as we work to educate and empower our students with disabilities through the arts. Sometimes working with children with special needs may seem overwhelming – after all, regularly, we have children with disabilities included in the typical classroom and meeting the challenges of every student can be overwhelming. I would love to hear from you so we can share wise and proven ways to help each other as we teach our students with disabilities. All our students deserve the best that we can be for them.

ART AND SPECIAL NEEDS SYMPOSIUM

MOORE COLLEGE OF ART & DESIGN

Dr. Beverly Gerber, co-editor of Reaching and Teaching Children with Special Needs through Art will be the Keynote Speaker at an all day symposium at Moore College of Art & Design. Book signing to follow. The afternoon is full of round table discussions led by experts in the field of inclusion and teaching art to children with special needs.
