Here are some great websites that have good advocacy information--also, a few of them will let you subscribe to their e-news or updates.

Here are three great websites to browse for art happenings in the Pittsburgh area:

www.pittsburghartscouncil.org  (Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council)

www.pgharts.org (Pittsburgh Cultural Trust)
**Go to their website to sign up for their Tix For Teachers program and get discounted tickets to performances and meet and greet opportunities with artists.

Don't forget about touring the Car and Carriage Museum or Clayton House.

--Pittsburgh Glass Center

--The Carnegie Museum of Art    www.cmoa.org for more information.

--The Mattress Factory www.mattressfactory.org.

--The Fort Ligonier Museum sent out a reminder about considering their facility when planning those end of the year fieldtrips.  The website (www.fortligonier.org) also has great resources for teachers when teaching about the French and Indian War.

--Check out the website for the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh (www.pittsburghkids.org). 
We clicked on the section for educators and found so many wonderful links to a variety of things
such as upcoming events, educational guides, class information and much more.
