Region News

Send us pictures of your displays and ideas you had for Youth Art Month so we can post them onto the website and in our newsletter.

We are interested in any ideas that you may have for advocacy. Please send ideas to us so that they can be published on the website. Pass the word about the PAEA website to your colleagues. Make this a year a time to advocate for your program. Invite the public in to see what is going on in your classroom. Find places in your community to display student work on an ongoing basis. Have students create a flyer that will go out periodically with information on the displays that you have in your building or community. We need to advocate for our programs ongoing. Don't wait until your program is in jeopardy. Use the members in your region as a resource. We are all here to assist you.

Help us keep in touch with PAEA members! Pass the word about the PAEA website to your colleagues. If you have a colleague who is not in PAEA, please help in the recruiting effort. Let us know of new members so we can contact them. We do need your help in making contacts through the region.

Please make sure that PAEA has the most current contact information for you. Check your NAEA renewal form for correct information.

We need to know what you are interested in. Are you looking for workshops? Museum or gallery visits? Do you want to run an event? Do you know an artist? Our region covers a large area and we would like to have events occur through the whole area, we need you for that to happen!

Keep yourself informed of what is going on by subscribing to the PAEA Listserve. The link for this is on the site.
