Association (PAEA)
and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA)
-
-
- The Teacher as Artist in Residence Program
is intended to honor art educators from across
the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for their artistic
abilities and accomplishments. This program
gives art teachers a unique opportunity to
serve as guest artists (not as guest art teachers) in schools
other than their own. Educational partnership
and collaboration underpin every dimension
of this
enterprise from the initial joint application
process, made between the teacher/artist and
the host art
educator, to the program's delivery, through
to the final assessment of program impact.
