 Sandra Lee Wood

(Nominated by John Skrabalak)

 

Sandra Lee Wood served PAEA before her retirement as the Chair of the Supervision and Administration Committee and the Advocacy Division.  Since retiring, she serves as Chair of the PAEA Retired Division and Chair of the PAEA Teachers as Artists in Residence Program (TARP).  She holds both a B.S. and a M.Ed. in Art Education from Kutztown University.

 

·        1990 PAEA Outstanding Art Educator

·        Presenter PAEA conferences

·        Presenter at New York City NAEA Convention

·        Designer faux fractur PAEA certificate of recognition for retired members

·        Educator: Boyertown Area School District: 40 years teaching art, 90+ student teachers, and serving as  Supervisor of Art for 15 years.

·        Adjunct professor, guest teacher, & Early Field Supervisor of Student Teachers at Kutztown University

 

 

·        Presenter: Crayola art workshops

·        Adult Educator of professional development for pre-school teachers for the Philadelphia Please Touch Museum

·        Provider of workshops for senior citizens in the Frederick Mennonite Home
