John Howell White is Art
Education Professor and Department Chair at Kutztown University. John has a
wide experience in the field of art education holding previous positions
including:2007-08 faculty Virginia
Beach School District and Virginia Center for Contemporary Art; 2007 VAST
Program, Philadelphia Museum of Art; 1998, 1995, 1990 consultant, Getty Center
for Education in the Arts; 1989-91 Penn State University graduate
assistantship; 1988-89 Crossroads School for the Arts, Santa Monica, CA;
1976-88 Art Teacher and Department Head for Sewickley Academy, PA .
John holds a B.A. from the
University of Colorado, an M.F.A. from Pratt Institute, and a Ph.D. from The
Pennsylvania State University.
