Advocacy Action Center

Below are some ways you can take action to help promote the arts and keep us informed of what's going on in your setting.

--TAKING ACTION WITHIN PAEA

Please contact us and let us know what is happening in your setting.  We have many resources to assist you (Have you received your PAEA Advocacy Toolkit yet?  If not, let us know!) and we would like to have a better idea of what is happening to our colleagues in the field.  Please share your stories by contacting us at our email addresses listed below.

--TAKING ACTION WITH YOUR POLICYMAKERS

**PLEASE take a moment and write your local policymakers to thank them for keeping funding for the arts in this year's budget.  You can easily access this information if you click on the link below for the Citizens for the Arts.**

Americans for the Arts and Citizens for the Arts are two wonderful organizations that have links to directly contact your local policymakers.

NOTE:  Jenny Hershour, Managing Director of Citizens for the Arts, has discussed establishing a relationship with your policymaker prior to your requesting help.  Use their Citizen's Guide to Arts Advocacy to help you understand this process better.
