PAEA is pleased to offer for their second year, an ED&I grant. This opportunity is designed to increase equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field of visual art and design education and remove barriers of access for underrepresented individuals. PAEA makes the commitment to support the inclusion of diverse visual arts educators, with a priority focus on first-time attendees of a PAEA Conference, in hopes of creating more equitable pathways to leadership in the arts.

This grant is designed to support visual arts and design educators on their path of continued professional learning, teaching, and leadership development. Those selected will be asked to engage with the PAEA ED&I Committee for continued sharing and connection.

Interested individuals will complete this brief survey including an “about me” essay that addresses their experience with equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field.
