Justin Bursk been teaching for 28 years in the Neshaminy School District, a suburban public school district.
"My classroom is a place of experimentation and play, although my students would probably say I have too many requirements and submissions. I focus on practice and process and building honest relationships with my class."
Justin has taught at every level, first Middle then 10 years at High School then bumped to Elementary for 10 and now back in the High School.
"I run a busy class filled with a constant flow and rotation of materials, subjects and inspirational materials. I allow a certain degree of freedom pushing the students to gain some independence and agency."

Justin has taught painting, drawing, photography, animation, sculpture, jewelry, and ceramics, and runs workshops at the local community college, and has taught Pre College at Temple University.
"My students are put through achievable exercises that I hope will provide some confidence. I teach beginning painting and drawing as well as a class we developed called Artists in the Community which is a unified course that includes students with special needs."
