May's PAEA Student Artist of the Month is
Kylie M!
Kylie attends Danville Middle School and was nominated by PAEA member Jessica Noel.
What Jessica has to say about Kylie:
Kylie’s passion for art is evident in everything she touches. She is a quiet, focused student who possesses a rare, natural ability to bring ideas to life visually. What makes Kylie truly special is her humility; she creates for the love of the process rather than for recognition. Her kindness and caring demeanor make her a joy to have in class, and her artistic contributions make our school a more beautiful place.
"My biggest influence has and will always be my Grandma. She taught me all the techniques and art skills I know. I feel that she would always encourage me and teach me more."
"Art class/education is important as it teaches creativity and skills, and allows people to develop a hobby like painting or drawing."
"You will always be able to improve. Practice makes progress. Art is about your work being unique, not perfect."
